Following the Fernweh

Established in 2021, Following the Fernweh was created to inspire you to have an adventure. The vision of Following the Fernweh began as an authentic desire to connect with others in the outdoors. ​

In 2022, my husband bought me a fly fishing rod and an adventure began. I quickly found that connecting with others while fly fishing came easily. Fly fishing adventures while staying in amazing places have become one of my favorite things to do in the outdoors.

 

I worked for a short-term rental company that operated over 40 rental homes in a tourism-driven community in the western United States. I quickly discovered that many owners needed someone to help curate content that would not only reach the audiences they knew would book stays but also wanted to reach new people who wanted to create lifelong memories. Following the Fernweh now partners with short-term rentals that provide access to fly fishing across the United States. Creating content for short term rentals and discovering places that you will love to visit, too, is another way that Following the Fernweh inspires adventure. I'd love to share these places with you!
